Karen B. has been with Heaven Sent for over eight years! She has always had animals in he life and loves them because they give so much love and they are soft and cuddly. She currently has a Portuguese Water Dog named Skipper. Karen was born in Evanston and grew up in Morton Grove but now she lives in Skokie where her parents were also raised. She has a degree in Art Education and taught in Addison, IL for kindergarten through 8th grade. She then ended up working in a new company for over 20 years when there were budget cuts for the art program. She currently works for a small start-up that specializes in cognitive development skills. She love working for Heaven Sent because she is able to get fresh air and exercise while spending time with such wonderful dogs! She loves to garden and volunteer in her free time. She has two amazing children, her son who has recently built a SRF car from spare parts and her daughter is a nurse at Skokie Hospital.
